Patrick Flanagan
Founder & MD
Patrick has 20 years’ experience within financial services search recruitment. He set up Clarence George to offer a highly bespoke service to the Insurance & Investment markets and he is passionate about improving the levels of customer service in the industry. He graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast. He is a keen runner and recently completed his first 50k ultra marathon.

James Broomfield
James specialises in Insurance/Retirement Solutions and ALM working closely with qualified Actuaries and CFAs. He studied an MA in Contemporary Chinese Studies and a BA in International Relations and Mandarin and enjoys cycling, running and football in his spare time!

Senior Consultant
Beth is a Senior Consultant specialising in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Before joining Clarence George, she worked as a registered Midwife in the NHS. In her spare time, Beth enjoys doing Pilates and spending time with family and friends back in Brighton.

Finlay Edmonds
Consultant
Fin is a Consultant at Clarence George. He studied Environment, Economics and Ecology at the University of York. In his spare time, Fin likes to cook, read, try out new pubs and go to the gym. He also enjoys watching Tottenham play!
Amy Alexander
Associate Consultant
Amy is an Associate Consultant specialising in Life Actuarial opportunities in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. She has a Business degree and previously worked in the Electric Vehicle industry. More recently she travelled South East Asia and in her spare time enjoys reading, the gym, and walking her dog.
Rebekkah Howe
Associate Consultant
Rebekkah is an Associate Consultant specialising in ALM & Insurance Solutions, working closely with actuaries and CFAs. She studied Economics and Management at Bocconi University in Milan and enjoys playing football, travelling, and exploring new food spots.
Emily Dodds
Head of Operations
Emily runs the operations side at Clarence George. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Insurance industry, initially as a non-Life actuary and more latterly as Underwriting Manager at a Lloyd’s Managing Agency. She studied MSOR at UMIST in Manchester. In her spare time, Emily is a keen runner, loves curling up with a good book, and is currently studying medical herbalism.
